Michael J Fenton, age 57, of Peyton, Colorado, formerly of Raynham, Massachusetts died at his home on August 4, 2025. Born and raised in Raynham, MA. He was the son of the late Gerald J. and Karen M. Fenton. Mike was a graduate of Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School. He was the brother of Daniel Fenton, Christopher Fenton, and Sarah Fenton. He was the husband of Kelli Fenton and father to Kayla and Dale Fenton. He started his love of wood working and construction in High School. After graduation, Mike began a career with Noblin Construction in Raynham, MA. Michael earned his contractor's license at the age of 18 and married his wife, Kelli, in 1995. Upon moving to in 1996, Mike continued his career, first with Classic homes, then with Pulte homes, John Laing Homes, Century Communities, and Martin Marietta. He finally realized his dream of starting his own company, StoneyBrooke Homes, in 2023. Mike's love of home building and deep industry knowledge led him to spread his leadership skills throughout the state of Colorado, and nationally. Michael served on the Home Builders Association (HBA) board of directors for 20 years, was active in the local and national sales and marketing council, served as an alternate delegate on the NAHB Leadership council, and contributed to the NAHB Construction Safety, Health & Labor Committee. Mike was committed to his community, serving as Secretary of the Meridian Service Metro District Board since 2012, where he helped oversee important community infrastructure and services in Meridian Ranch. Michael had a passion for classic cars (especially Camaros), building furniture, road trips, traveling, golf, politics, and enjoyed long conversations with friends and family. He was very social, and made connections and friendships wherever he went. He had many lifelong friends that he would always call and visit whenever possible in Massachusetts. Michael leaves behind his wife Kelli, and children Kayla and Dale Fenton in Peyton, CO. His brother Daniel and his wife Kyoko from Westwood, MA, his brother Chris and his wife Therese in Las Vegas, NV, and his sister Sarah and her husband, Joe Texeira in Berkley, MA, along with several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life ceremony will be held for Mike at Madera’s Grille and Cantina located at 9650 Antler Creek Drive, Peyton, CO on September, 11 from 2pm-4pm. A celebration of life will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
